elm countdown begins

Only a few months remain until elm is complete!  The countdown has truly begun, with the building already making a dramatic impact on South Melbourne.

With all 22 storeys now built, the tower crane has been removed and the internal lifts are operating.  The beautiful external facade featuring the elm leaf design is now largely completed and is fast becoming a South Melbourne design icon.

On levels five to ten, the finishing touches are being applied to the apartment interiors including painting, carpets and lighting.

The joinery installation is underway to level 18 and the wall framing and plasterboard sheeting is now in progress on the final floor of apartments, level 22.

The podium recreation deck on level five is taking shape, with the outdoor lounge pods and inbuilt spas now installed - we know this will be an impressive place for our residents and their guests.

elm is due for completion in November 2010 and we can't wait to unveil South Melbourne's best new address!
